So, here I am waiting for my pizza when I hear they lost an order for another guy. How do you lose an order. Your pizza is great and all, but you guys can do much better as far as the service is concerned. Give incentive for those of us that do pick up orders to continue to do so.

By far the best pizza I've had in Broward county! Deep dish pizza with Turbo crust is amazing. The crust is actually crispy and not soggy like what you get with 95% of other pizza spots around town. We had a large pepperoni and Italian sausage pizza w/ turbo crust, cheese sticks, cinnamon sticks for dessert and a 2 liter for under $30 (online specials available on their website). Will definitely order here again very soon!

wow. I'm sorry, what I mean is WOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWW!!!!!! I just ordered my first of what is going to be many of their deep dish pizza. I drove by, made the call with the standard, "I'd like a large cheese for pick up". The angel that answered the phone, Leslie, recommended the deep dish version. My response, "Really? Might be too much crust". Leslie quickly shot back, "It's So Worth It!". And it was. Truly the best deep dish I've ever sunk my teeth into. The entire staff welcomed me when I walked in, and thanked me for coming. Very impressive operation! DIG IN!

Service is bad after waiting 90 min and called them and they said they got slammed...... Could've called and let me know . Poor customer service

Best and closest to Chicago-style pizza I have found in south Fl.. Their deep dish is sooo cheezy abd has a burnt/carmelized crust. You can ask for it as dark as you like. Their appetizers are pretty good. The only thing is I wish they had real dine-in. They do have free delivery though.

Needed pizza while staying in our hotel one night & jet's was on the back of the television channel listings, so we went with it. Pizza is my all time favorite food, and I'm pretty easy to please with any kind of pizza, but Jets pizza was TERRIBLE. We ordered a large & had it delivered & it took the whole hour that they say to get it to you (our hotel was 7 minutes away). My boyfriend managed to eat two slices & I only ate one. The crust was soaked with grease to the bottom, and the bottom crust was burnt & tasted stale. We were sick to our stomachs the rest of the night. The beef tasted sour....there are too many things I could say, just save your money & order from somewhere else.

Great deeeeeep dish pizza place. Comparable pizza... there isn't any. The pizza is in a league by itself. Not the usually taste you may expect but that is a good thing. I've had their delivery as well as pick-up in store. Every time the pizza has reached the eating location it is hot (not spicy). You'll want to keep a soda near by or open the box and let the temperature acclimate to the room.

The best pizza in Fort Lauderdale! The 8 corner pizza rocks! People are friendly and fast. Wish they delivered farther but don't mind driving to get their pizza!

  • Mariam D.

Satisfyingly good stuff. We had a piping hot and gloriously cheesy rectangular pizza and one with pepperoni delivered for lunch. The crusts were both simultaneously lightly crisp and soft and chewy bite after bite. This was my first experience with Jets. Overall this pizza had a fresh baked, savory taste. Look forward to trying other items on this menu.

I'm not sure how you can give this place anything but 5 stars.... Or any jets pizza I have ever been to for that matter, from Clearwater to here. The deep dish pizza is heaven. Literally best pizza in the WORLD. You will not be disappointed! Most of their locations do daily specials so be sure to call and ask! They also have delicious salads, great size portions. The only problem is they aren't close enough to my house!

  • Jessica B.

Orderd from them twice and they always tell me that delivery will be an hour, first time it was an hour, second time they came a little earlier, food is "ok",would eat from them again simply because they deliver to our room!

  • Cherir C.

After my last review, I spoke to the owner. We tried the same order again and also added a deep dish pan. We had it delivered to the house. Everything was excellent. There were only two slices left in the box and my grandson ate them for breakfast lol. There is a real owner here watching the shop. He is passionate about his business. It was a great experience!

By far the best pizza I've ever had. My bf introduced me to Jet's when we first started dating and it has changed my life. My sister has told me she's upset she's had such good pizza because it's ruined her for all other pizzas. Their 8-corner pizza is a weekend staple in our house and their ranch dressing is out of control. We've only had delivery and it's always fast and the pizza is always hot. Thank you Jet's.

First time here. Pizza is fresh and delicious! Will be back for more! The staff was nice and friendly, place was clean. The pizza came out pretty quickly and cooked to perfection!

  • Lesley C.

Where do I begin? First, I ordered and they said my order would take 45 minutes delivery... It took an hour and a half! Second, the pizza was TERRIBLE! The sauce was sweet, & thick.. When we ordered light sauce! The pizza wouldn't rip, & the cheese would fall right off! Third, the EXTRA GARLIC Bread... HAD NO GARLIC AT ALL! I do not recommend this pizza place at all, and above all for the cost & time; it took it was not worth it even a little bit!

We used to order jets a lot but the pizza has gone down hill..... So sad greasy old and cold 3 things you don't want with pizza!!!

I'd heard about Jets for a while...and after a few drinks at Funky Buddha I finally experienced the magic that is Jets Pizza. As some of the reviews mention - takeout is the way to go here. This instance however we dined in. The guy that took care of us was super nice - offered recommendation and was all around great. However the rest of the staff was super loud - and when I went to get some sauces was totally ignored till one of the other customers was frustrated enough for me to get someones attention the old fashion way, "HEY! This guy needs something!" - haha it was pretty awkward. All good though - these guys were busy creating magical pizza. Got a large half and half - make sure you go for the rectangular pizzas - I almost got a normal round one, but the edges on the rectangular one are where the magic is. Oh, well that and the sauces. Get the sauces! I dipped my half (suasage) pizza into creamy ranch. Yummo! The crust is the best part - crispy, deliciously burnt cheese. The wife had mushrooms and I snuck a strip - yea, they aren't slices, they are strips....once again perfect for dipping! GET THE SAUCE! Had some leftover - and well, it tastes even better the next day! Next time I'm at Funky I know what grub I'll be brining to the table.

They tell you upfront that delivery during the weekend can take an hour - they don't lie - so I'm not giving them a lower rating for that - delivery was prompt - within the 60 minute time frame. I wanted to try them out because they have mixed reviews but I really want to pull away from ordering from chains when there are so many mom and pop places; and some of them stop delivery as early as 10:30 on Friday and Saturday (hey, I know we're not Miami, but hello - we're a pretty late night county too - what's up with that?) but Jets does deliver later and from the looks of reviews it appears they're easy to access if your a visiting guest in a hotel - that's pretty good service - in fact, no demerits on service at all. So why the low rating? Ummmm... well, OK, IMHO the pizza is atrocious. The closest I can recommend it to is the pizza you got at the high school cafeteria. The tomato sauce is way overly sweet and has such an off putting unctuous flavor you figure they'd get more bang for their buck if they just slathered the crust with Ragu or something out of a can of Chef Boyardee. But then there is the crust - lifeless, tasteless cardboard - nothing spectacular, pretty under whelming. I don't want to give Jets a one star, however, because again their service is fast and efficient, the people who take your order are quite polite and I'm sure there are many employees who depend on their jobs - but Jets - people - golly - it's a pizza - how or why can you screw it up? Your flavorless tasteless pie just made me reconsider Totino's and that's pretty bad... just saying....

We received a flyer in the mail with a few deals on it .... So we decided to try it. We ordered via telephone and they stated that it would be 40 - 45 minutes until it was delivered. It was on time and the pizza was as advertised. We ordered the "corner pizza" and it was delicious. I definitely recommend this pizza place. Pizza is my "thing" and this pizza is great! The staff/owners are also very accommodating and helpful. Thanks guys!

When Anthonys Coal Fired pizza is closed I turn to Jets! The delivery is extremely fast and the prices are amazing. I got a small half cheese half pepperoni and mushroom for just $10! I recommend getting the square style pizza. So gooood

Jets is basically a pickup, take out or pizza delivery operation. I can't comment on any of that, since I didn't pick up, take out or have a pizza delivered. However I did go here to eat, so I can speak of my experiences dinning here and express my thoughts about their pizza. First off, the place is not actually located fronting East Oakland Park Boulevard. It only occupies the back end of a building and to access it you need to turn onto a side street. The building front itself is a vacant, up for lease defunct business, however, Jets is well marked by a road front sign. The dinning in experience here is in one word, awful. The clerks are way too busy with phone calls, checking receipts and making arrangements with delivery boys to bother giving much attention to those wanting a mere slice or two to eat on the premises. The interior décor of the seating area is rather industrial, because the windows are so high up, no window views, everything white tile, with the only similar such in general appearance I have ever encountered before being that of a county morgue. The only thing on tables are napkins, but there is a small shelf by the entry door with one single little grated cheese shaker and a small glass container with nothing in it, but I assume meant to contain a bags with a plastic forks and knifes, the same of which I had to ask for as it did not come with my two slice order of pizza. As for the pizza, I'd classify it as being Chicago, sort of pan like in style. Though the taste was good, it was mostly gooey dough, scattered lumps of sausage and one slice with four, the other with five (yes, counted them) slices of the thinnest pieces of pepperoni I've ever seen. Overall you might be just as far ahead cutting a cheap loaf of bread in half, lengthwise, pouring some tomato sauce on it, a slathering of mozzarella cheese, a crumple of sausage, some super less than paper thin pepperoni slices, toast it and you'd pretty much end up approximating the same thing. On the outside, sort of a walkway area, there are four tables with nothing on them and some chairs facing the parking lot for outside eating. So did I get attentive service? No. Did I enjoy the general décor or ambiance of the place? No and No. Did I like the pizza? No. Would I return here or place a delivery order from Jets? No way!

This was my first time trying Jet's Pizza and my feelings were definitely mixed. The Good: The Pizza. We ordered the deep dish Jets 10 and it was absolutely AMAZING. definitely one of the best deep dishes I've had and probably the best in Fort Lauderdale. The Bad: The service. I called in my order for take out thinking it would be quicker for me to pick it up rather than have it delivered. I called at 10:30 and was told 15 to 20 minutes. For the record, no one was rude as I've read in other reviews. Everyone was very nice. I arrived at 10:54 and paid for my pizza. I was told a few minutes. At 11:15 I finally got up and asked how much longer it would be. There was another woman sitting in the restaurant area with the exact situation (her husband kept having to come in from the car to see why it was taking so long). I finally got my Pizza at 11:20. Almost an hour after I ordered and about 30 minutes after I should have had it. Yes the food is amazing but you are only as good as the service you provide. I don't mind waiting for my food, but if I would have been told 50 minutes, I would have shown up 50 minutes later. Id rather that than showing up and waiting. Will definitely order again, but will be sure to show up later than told.

I discovered Jet's because I am working near here and some co-workers introduced me to Jet's Pizza. The first thing I noticed when I walked in is that their restaurant is very clean. Someone working behind the counter greeted us and told us about their different lunch specials and menu items. I ended up getting a deep dish slice of pepperoni and a drink. The cashier was very helpful and polite. It only took a few minutes to get my slice after I ordered. I have to say that Jet's deep dish pepperoni pizza is absolutely delicious!! The crust is so buttery and crisp and just amazing and melts in your mouth. They use real cheese also, which totally makes a difference in the taste. I have been back several times because the pizza is so good, it becomes addicting! I highly recommend this place if you love pizza and are in the area!

The pizza is incredibly good. Round, square, deep dish, thin, doesn't matter. It's fuego. P.S. Try the turbo crust. You're already eating pizza so calories don't count.

Oh Jets Pizza I love you ;) came from West Palm and HAD to order some Jets!! Had to order 6 dressings on the side for later use. Italian Deli Boat with Turbo Crust is my weakness. A guy could propose to me with one and I'd have to say YES! Please see my numerous photos of this total awesomeness :)

  • Lucy A.

I must admit the pizza is delicious and the cheesy breads are to die for! They got to my door in no time and my order was hot (temp) right from the oven! My only complaint is the poor customer service I received. Zack took my order and was continuously rude for no reason. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars.

I am from NY so I think New York pizza is the best. However, this is really good Chicago style pizza. Really good. I am not a crust person but I can eat their pizza crust all day, every day.

  • WM 9.

They have a good product if they make it correctly. I agree with several of the other reviewers that when there is a mistake 10 or 20% off doesnt cut it. It appears mistakes happen quite a bit and the owner is always apologetic but that doesnt fix it when you have a hungry family waiting at home. Better training, better quality control is the key before you present it to the customer.

I have been eating Jets pizza for over 10 years now ever since they were at their original location on US1 Federal Highway. There is no other pizza like their deep dish square pizza. It's the best!! I now live in the Margate/Coral Springs area and I was craving Jets all week so I drove all the way to Fort Lauderdale to pick up a pie. Now that's dedication, lol I hope one day someone will open a Jets in my area, until then I'll just have to drive across town when I want some good pizza.:)

I had a not so pleasant experience once but Nick was quick to reply and take care of the situation. Jets has been my favorite pizza around for years. Thanks guys!

Great place, great owner. We had a couple of oops' on a couple of orders but the owner really went out of his way to make things right. It's nice to see someone doing customer service "old school": Personally calling us on the telephone and actually being concerned about his customers. Good stuff! Great job. We'll be back for sure.

  • Matt G.

Well for starters they do have very good pizza but my how quickly good food (would have rated 4stars!) can be diminished when you have a rotten seed for an employee that mocks paying customers!.... Start off I've been in the service industry over 27 years I placed a food order for $90 worth of pizzas on Saturday evening & was told it would be roughly an hour because they were busy..perfectly acceptable!! I called back at an hour and 10 minutes because I haven't seen my pizza and I'm told it should be there any minute... After 10 minutes I call back because my pizza is nowhere to be found and I'm now told by somebody that it is leaving the store in two minutes and should be there in 10... So was my pizza never on its way the first time or was I just lied too....move forward .. After 15 more minutes I call back and explain to the Young lady my situation she forgets to put the phone on hold as she mocks me to someone about my complaint.. I'm sorry I'm not complaining about one pizza that is five minutes late I'm talking about $90 worth of pizza that's over an hour and a half...as I'm talking to the manager the driver pulls up the manager was nice enough to take $20 off (should have done more in my large parties opinion that were all starving!) but that really doesn't account for a rude person who is the so-called face of your company who answers the phone to MOCK paying customers like that!!...don't know if I'll ever order from them again just for that young lady's lousy customer service!

  • Marc L.

I've ordered pizza from Jets 2-3 times and never had problems. I really like the deep dish pizza and was craving some tonight. I called in my order and went to pick it up 20 minutes later. When I arrived they asked for my phone number, but then said they had no record of my order. Sure, I know mistakes can happen but the guy said I could stick around and they'd make pizza for me and take 10% off. What?! I call in an order, drive 15 minutes to pick it up for people waiting at home only to find that someone messed up my order and they think 10% is reasonable? I thought it was insulting. The correct response would have been to either offer it for free, or at least a substantial discount (50%) while waiting another 20 minutes. I was very disappointed by the response to the mistake. I just told them I wasn't interested in waiting another 20 minutes and left. So why did I give Jets 3 stars? Because their pizza is really good, but their customer service in this instance was very poor (to merit a 2 star loss). When I get over this and order Jets pizza again, i will call back to confirm they took the order and are actually making the pizza. I recommend that other customers do the same.

We had a great experience here. They are friendly and extremely cool. They even have us two free garlic butter dips. Just a tip: go turbo. I usually don't eat my crust, but I ate ever last bit of that pizza. I didn't like the sauce, but my little sister did. So it depends. It was kinda too sour for my taste. The dipping sauce was good.

Nick is great..You can tell the service comes straight from the top..No nonsense, call, order and sit back and when it comes you won't be sorry. The service is great and I hope it stays this way..Deep Dish was perfect and also try the chicken parm boat. Stacey

I will never order Papa Johns again. I wanted something different so tried Jets. Cheese sticks were sinful and the BBQ chix pizza was heavenly. I'm not sure why I waited so long to try Jets. Quick delivery and easy online ordering...Loved it!

This place is light years ahead of Dom/PJ/Pizza Slut, it's also not gonna be like say mom n pop Antonio's in Miramar if you check out some of my other reviews. But what it is, is really good conveyer belt pizza. That's not a knock but they put it on a conveyer belt to my knowledge like most of the major chains. The difference here is in the crust, they make the 4 corner pizza something you want to sink your teeth into. It's like what the pan pizza USED to be at Pizza Hut back in the 70s/80s when you might actually dine in at the little Hut and sit in a booth, remember those days? Jets has no booths, a few tables but they are primarily a pick up or delivery place. The staff is super friendly and that matters when you are going to support a business. Mistakes happen and I don't doubt some of the folks who have complained on here but I also think Jets is a huge step up from the big chains. I think we had a Hawaiian turbo with hot peppers added 1 time, whatever it was, was off the chain and I wish I could recreate that pizza. Another thing that would be really smart on management there would be to read these reviews which they do, and not just respond to the bad reviews to make things better. You obviously have fans of your joint here writing good reviews, why not send some of them a coupon for their next visit? Even a simple $2/$3 off your next pizza to cover some of the gas as many of us come from somewhat far distances to eat the pizza. Solid tasty greasy/butter pizza and I also agree on the turbo, you'll be licking your fingers. Kids go bonkers over the pizza as well.

Have never actually been inside, but order it all the time. Don't waste your time on the regular pizza, get the 8 corner every single time! Well worth it! Favorite pizza in fort lauderdale!

I rarely post anything anywhere, but I have to say this... last night we ordered delivery and it showed up with the wrong salad. Mistakes happen, and we didn't think much of it. Then I got a call from the manager Jets to apologize for sending the wrong salad. This type of service doesn't happen often and pretty much never happens in South Florida. Just wanted to say thanks to that manager for doing his job and doing it with heart. It didn't go unnoticed! P.S. The 8 corner pizza is AWESOME

Pizza in south Florida- what a disaster usually. This is NOT Chicago. This is NOT NY pie. This is it's own sort of hybrid, but done very well. Crust is good. Ingredients seem fresh. We have had the thin crust, and the square cut pan- square cut pan a little more "decadent"- probably too much word to describe pizza, but whatever. Online ordering is fantastic, and their house salad is great. Since discovering it, we have ordered 3 times. Will be back while waiting to get Pizanos back in Chicago.

Awesome pizza and super fast delivery! Loved their deep dish. The only drawback is that it was so good, I ate too much. Found my new pizza place!!!!!

  • Karen S.

Pretty good pan pizza. I liked the sauce, it was sweeter than most, and the crust was buttery, but not greasy. Greek salad was just so-so. Delivery came right when they said it would. In all, a perfectly fine cheap dinner!

Being from Michigan (where Jets originated) Jets has always been my favorite pizza. When I moved down to Fort Lauderdale I was thrilled to discover that 1 outta 5 of the Jets in FL was less than a mile from my house! This location is no exception, the pizza is delicious. I am prone to the 8 corner piece pizzas myself. The crust is the best part! Get it turbo style with butter, garlic & parm. The wait is average for pizza places and they also have slices all day every day. The one time there was an issue (1 hour delivery & wrong pizza) we were issued free pizza coupons. So even after that I was satisfied :) If you haven't tried Jets you definitely should check it out.

Seriously? Terrible. I couldn't even finish a slice. Waste of $15.

I really like Jet's. I like the flavored crust (turbo), the deep dish pizza, etc. It is consistent--you can count on what you're going to get everytime. Not expensive either. Never had a problem with delivery.

I've tried most of the local pizzeria's in the area with higher ratings but I always end up back here. The grilled chicken square pizza is my favorite. I also like that you can order the crust with a different seasoning.

Suggested to us by the hotel staff at the Premiere Hotel during a torrential rainstorm when we didn't want to go out. Great suggestion, too. Free delivery and good prices. We had the All Meaty pizza and it was outstanding. The Jet's Bread was great as well and the greek salad was fresh and huge. For $33, including tip, we ate way more than we should have and were more than satisfied with everything. Delivery was within 45 minutes in spite of the pouring rain. Another place we called said it would be AT LEAST 90 minutes due to bad weather.

Friends have been telling me about this place for years. Finally went and loved it ... and even better it's just a few blocks from my house. Several types of crust and the usual toppings. Mostly takeout but a few tables with some outside on the sidewalk.

I have ordered delivery from here twice. I ordered from this pizzeria on the recommendation of one my associates and was sorely disappointed the first time. On our first call, we ordered a hand-tossed pepperoni pizza with extra cheese. I ate one piece and couldn't eat any more. Boboli and Freschetta from the freezer taste better. The crust of the pizza was hard like a rubber ball and not very crispy. The cheese and the pepperoni were mediocre at best while the sauce was overseasoned. I love pizza, but this was an aberration. I was pissed that someone would recommend this place to me. The next time that I saw the guy that told me it was the best pizza he had ever had, I let him have it. The first question out of his mouth, "Did you get the pan pizza?" I was flabberghasted. I had no idea that they made pan pizza. I was then lectured on the fact that it is the pan pizza that is good and nothing else. Well, I wasn't about to be schnookered again so I had him order the pizza for delivery this time. I told him if I liked it, I would pay for it; if I didn't like it, then he was on the hook. Like a bat out of hell he was dialing the phone. This guy ordered the pan pizza, half meat lovers and half veggie lovers. I went about my daily business as I waited for the pizza to arrive. When the delivery driver arrived with the food, the smell that came from the box was actually quite pleasant. He paid while I took the box and went to the kitchen. I did cringe when I opened the box since one half of the pizza had mushrooms and the other side had sausage and I refuse to eat both of those items. I sucked it in and took a slice of each type and just removed the offending items. While the slice of the meat lovers was okay, I truly enjoyed the veggie lovers side of the pizza. The crust was think, it was crunchy on the bottom and sides, it wasn't soggy in the center or under the toppings -- good. The cheese and the toppings were cooked and good -- awesome. The sauce was by no means overpowering with the pan pizza. In the end, I paid for the pizza. A little pricey and tt is not the greatest pizza I have ever had, but it definitely merits a call-back; but only for the pan pizza. It brings back fond memories of what Pizza Hut Pizza used to taste like when they actually made the dough fresh.

Awesome pizza and fantastic service. Being from Michigan I was so excited to see a Jets so close to me! Will definitely be back!

So their online ordering system shows they deliver to the 33334 zip code, which is where my residence is located, but apparently my portion of that area is "too far street wise", cause they "go by the street not the zip code" and they "need to be able to get to their deliveries efficiently". Um..ok? But I'm only like 5-10 mins up the road! Smh Seems to me like the don't want to deliver here cause it's a lot less trendy Wilton Manors and a lot more urban oakland park. And btw no, I can't just come pick it up. If I could've I wouldn't have called for delivery. But yeah thanks for pointing out the obvious.

Great pizza and ranch. As a Michigan native I was happy to see Jets in Ft Laud. and excited for their deep dish pizzas. Chicken wings are baked so I'm not really a fan of them.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country.
